Brittany Mahomes’ Daughter Went ‘Right to Sleep’ After this Bed Change

Sterling Mahomes has officially made The Big Move. You know what we’re talking about: she said peace out to the crib and is now sleeping in her very own Big Girl Bed. Mom Brittany Mahomes — fitness trainer and co-owner of the Kansas City Currents — posted on her Instagram story on Wednesday to share the bittersweet milestone.

"Moved Sterling to a big girl bed today and I could cry," she wrote on the baby monitor picture of the 2-year-old sleeping soundly during naptime. "She went right to sleep."

Any parent who has made The Big Move knows how emotional the change can be for everyone involved. It can be exciting for the newly-minted Big Kid, and it can be a grateful yet teary-eyed (we see you, Britt!) time for parents. Because yay for toddlers who sleep through the night, but boo for realizing just how quickly they grow up.

We have all our fingers crossed that this whole "went right to sleep" thing continues, and it seems like it might with Sterling's seriously cozy setup. From the overhead baby monitor, we can see that she is surrounded by blankets and fun pillows like this cloud-shaped one. And of course, we know there is one special item that surely played a role in Sterling's sweet dreams.

Sterling Mahomes is a major WubbaNub fan! The pacifier brand comes with a little lovey attached, and it's an adorable 2-for-1 situation. She was seen rocking the cow WubbaNub pacifier when her dad Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl, and she had the unicorn WubbaNub with her during this first nap in her new bed.

This is not the only major change happening in the Mahomes household. Sterling is also being potty trained! Though progress is questionable, Brittany has some tricks up her sleeves, keeping her daughter entertained with outdoor toys like these reusable water balloons so any accidents aren't on the couch.

One thing Sterling is not sleeping on is family photos. She is always the star of the Mahomes photoshoots whether it be at the gym, in the studio, or in an ethereal boho bedroom.
